TVXQ in Shenzhen - 21.11.2009

Just when everyone thought that Shanghai will be their last concert, SM suddenly announced that TVXQ will have one in Shenzhen >.< They do really know how to milk the boys while they can.

Anyway, am trying to get my hands on the Shenzhen concert! ;D Wish me luck!

I finally have time to update this - just returned from TVXQ shanghai concert and workload is steadily piling up.

OMG!! The concert was awesome! The boys were brilliant - singing, dancing, interacting with the crowd etc. It's a rare chance for fans to see them all together one a stage.

Shanghai fans were amazing too and they showed their love for TVXQ when holding up placards or rather they are just pieces of white cloth with "I Believe" in Korean (믿어요) printed on it. TVXQ were all so touched when they saw it! And these placards were distributed to fans FOC just b4 entering the concert *heart*

TVXQ delivery a damn good performance that night and the memories will be with me for a long long time.

YAY!! My friend passed me the tickets over the weekend and it's beautiful!! Why? Because the ticket comes together with their AsiaTour mini notebook that has the members pictures in it! **0** I finally have the tickets on hand!! YAY!!! The ticket seat isn't my preferred choice but who knows, it may be a blessing in disguise too ;D *dances around*

Now, I can plan for the trip since lodging will be a slight problem...hmm...

I can't believe I have not update for such a long time ~_~;; Well, many things have happened, I attended Final Fantasy - Distant World concert in end May and Video Game Live 2 weeks ago which both concert were GREAT!! The anime songs from both concerts are really super and worth every single $$ spent on it ;) I will really need to find the time to do a review on that soon....

Well, why am I so occupied lately??

Blame on etereality who introduce me this awesome Korean 5 boyband group Tohoshinki aka Dong Bang Shin Ki or 東方神起 or TXVQ/ DBSK. Seriously, this group has the most acronym names for a group. I guess they are really living up to their name to be the "Rising Gods of the East" since they are called differently at different locations. I can't believe how much time I spent on reading/ watching/ listening to their stuff after etereality influenced me. I knew about them about 1-2 years ago when I saw their Jap. MV then. At first, I still thought they are Japanese artists since I only heard their Jap. songs.

Why would a non-teen lady like me like a boyband whom are *years* younger than me?? Well, firstly, they have the vocals to back up their songs and I mean *everyone* in the group can sing and become a solo artists themselves. Thank God they did not become solo artists otherwise, we would have lost the chance to see what TVXQ has become today ;) Their vocals prove to people that they are NOT just a boyband but rather a group with solid singing skills to match their good looks and flashy dance moves. These already set them apart from many other boybands round the region.

Secondly, they really respect and love each other which I find this solely lacking in so many boybands nowadays. They really care for each other. And the good vibes that come out from them is really what draws thousand of fans to them. Their ease and affection to each other are so obvious on interviews, variety shows and concerts.

Thirdly, they all can dance well which is a prerequisite as a boyband and their good looks don't hurt either ;D There are just too many awesome things to say about TXVQ. Their determination and hardwork is really something that inspires fans around the world. Their ability to learn the Japanese language within 2 years is really an amazing feat which I hope I can get back to learning my Jap. again! haha~

However all this sucess does come with a price and almost all members have been injured or ill. I do hope they take good care of themselves while still pursuing their dreams - To have a World concert!!!

Only once a year ;) Spending it with my family this year, not planning to go out or anything and just lazing at home doing what I wanted to do! Yay!

Mum cooked noodles for me since it is tradition for the birthday person to have noodles for longevity and a black forest cake! ;D

I was away when the F1 tickets were open on sale and I asked my brother to get the tickets for me. Unfortunately, he has forgotten about it till much later of the day and the seats that he bought in the end was 10 rows further back from where I sat last year!!!! T.T You can't see much during that distance!!!!!! T.T T.T T.T

No point to get angry with him but can't help but feel upset and frustrated!!! *wails*

Wow. I just realised that I started this LJ about 3 years ago in 2006! Times flies! ~_~;; that also just means that am getting older *sigh* Oh well. Work is forever tiring and working is just to bring the beacon home =_=;; when can I find someone else to worry about the beacon...

Yay! I passed my driving! ;D First attempt and as a private candidate ;P Usually the passing rate for 1st attempt is pretty low and even lower for private candidate. But I guess I was really lucky to have a nice examiner and the traffic on that day was kind to me.

My test was pretty short - started at 11.45am but finished around 12.15-12.20pm and after review (to determine if you pass or fail) I was done by 12.30pm. Anyway, am just happy that I passed despite many unpleasant experience during my learning stage ~_~;; I practically wanna throw the towel can called it quit *sigh*

After that, I got myself a PSP too ;D Well, I was planning to get the PSP regardless of the outcome of my driving results – If I passed, it will be reward ; if I failed, it will be a consolation to me ;P

So in the end, I got myself a lavender/ purple which is very pretty! *0* Can’t wait to get my hands on the Jap. Version of Crisis Core which I have already ordered and should be shipped out in a week time ;)

All in all, itz a good day for me ;D

ajoa did a great job in providing us with more pics ;P The box set comes in 1 huge box set where there are 2 boxes inside - One contains the CDs (1 main album, 1 bonus CD, 1DVD and lyrics book), the other contains the 2 LPs. A B3 poster and a sticker. I did not put the poster pic here 'coz I can't bear to unroll it ~_~ll but you can see it from Ajoa's link above ;P Enjoy!

I received DEG latest album today - UROBOROS!! ♥♥ I was so surprise that it came in such a big box and so heavy! I bought the limited edition where there are 2 CD (1 is a bonus CD unplugged version), 1 DVD and 2 LP! And I came in a oh so beautiful box set! **0** Am too excited to say anything now and am grinning like mad. ;P Mwahahahha~ will update here with pics! ;D

Just had my company event for our Clients...busy day today ~_~;; but am finally glad that itz done...Thank goodness am not the one organizing this year event ^^;; if not I doubt I have any time to eat and sleep...

On a lighter note, I can't wait for the coming Formula One coming end this month! Yay!~ \(^0^)/ Am prepared to not able to see anything since the cars are travelling at such high speed but just to be there to soak in all the hype and atmosphere ;D I believe it will be worth it ^_*

I went to collect my Formula One tickets today! ^0^

I went to the collection counter with the idea that the tickets will be just slips of paper in some nice folder etc but noooooo~ it came in a small sealed box big enough to fill at least 6 mangas. As it will be Singapore first F1 race, I totally have no idea what to expect and when I opened the box up, there were 2 smaller black boxes inside! ;P

The black box was sealed up and once you open it up – Tada! 3 beautiful passes including lovely neck-slings laid nicely inside and also a map on the race track! ;D

There are 3 days for F1 and each pass is for each day – Fri : Test-run, Sat : Qualifying, Sun : Race-Day.

The packaging is so pretty that it really gave me a surprise as I was totally not prepared for something like this ;) Now, I can’t wait for the Race-Day on 28 Aug!

Linkin Park Live in Singapore!

I went to Linkin Park Concert today with etereality !!! Err...rather it was yesterday night and they are A.W.E.S.O.M.E. Itz so much better hearing them live and I must say they are the few bands who can sing Live better than their albums ;D

The concert was an hour late and only started at 9pm but LP make up for it by singing straight non-stop for 1hr and 15 mins with all their hits songs like “Somewhere I belong”, “Numb”, “Don’t Stay”, “In the End”, “Faint”, “Breaking The Habit”, “Lying from You”, “Bleed it Out”, “What I’ve Done” and many many more!! Then Mike and Chester did a piano piece on “Pushing Me Away” which you can view on etereality LJ as she has posted it up. It was awesome!! *gush*

They had a short break and after chorus of enco from the crowd, they emerged again to sing for another 15mins or so. Finally the concert ended around 10.40pm.

*le sigh* LP gave us a fantastic concert once again. I had the chance to attend their concert here 2 years ago in an open area. It was good then and even better now. I just hope they will come again next year or so! ;D

Oh, to add on I bought their blank LP CD which I have to download for tonight’s concert in mid December! I can’t wait till them!

Apparently, my graphic card was mailed to Taiwan for repair and not bloody likely to be ready until a month time and this is just an estimated period... ... ...anyone knows if I can still use my comp even without the graphic card?

Hi pple, my PC finally kicked the bucket and need to be reformatted on Saturday ;( This means I lost all my files in my C Drive T.T T.T T.T My last backup was done in Feb and this also means I lost my FF7 saved game too *wail*

Initially, I cannot access to Windows thus the reason for reformatting my C drive. Then the IT pple realised that my RAM is not working and helped me to change it thus the reason of leaving my PC there for a day. *Then* they found that after changing the RAM that my graphic cards is not working...So they will help me to send for repair and I have wait like a week before I can get my PC back... ... ...Why is this happening to me???

This means I have no access to Internet unless I am working and note that I have no access to my personal emails because they are blocked at my office. And so, contact me via mobile ya.

Aside to joppokelin , contact me via mobile during this one week or so ok? Will need to arrange to collect the tourguide book from you ;)

Puzzled over my PC

The free space on my personal PC suddenly went from 60GB to 50GB. I have no idea where the 10GB of space went to and no, I did not download/install stuffs that need 10GB of space. I was downloading something but it does not even take up 1GB of space. I checked all my folders in that drive and it does not add up to the used space under properties so anyone has an idea whatz wrong? ;(
